Yūkan Labs — 悠間 — Est. 2024
Building for the human
before the user.
A human-first innovation lab restoring the third spaces where children become adults, and adults stay human.
Every venture begins with a question that hasn't been asked properly yet.
Stockholm, Sweden — Four ventures in development
Yūkan (悠間) means spacious unhurried interval — the pause before something considered takes shape.
We believe technology earns its place by making human experience richer, not faster. That the best products start with a real person in a real moment, not a persona in a slide deck.
No model will ever have the judgment of a human who cares. So we build systems where humans remain in the loop — not as oversight, but as essential architecture.
Imani is a designer and product thinker based in Stockholm. She builds at the intersection of human development, emerging technology, and the spaces society is quietly losing.
Before Yūkan Labs, she co-founded ROOTLY — an agricultural provenance infrastructure for African supply chains. She currently works as Quality and Delivery Operations Lead across national UK rail programmes.
